Vehicle Trade-in

At our dealership, the vehicle trade-in process is quick and painless. We know that you want the best deal for your current car and that you can’t wait hit the road in your new one. That’s why we’ve designed a system to quickly appraise your vehicle and make you a fair offer. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your experience.

Gather the Proper Paperwork

Before you arrive at the dealership, make sure you have your title or lienholder payoff information with you. You’re also going to need your state-issued ID, so we can verify your owner status. Finally, you’ll need to show us a valid vehicle registration. Once we have all the keys and remotes, you’re set to trade-in your old car for a new one.

Understand the Appraisal Process

To understand how this process will go, get to know our appraisal process. Before we give you a fair offer, we inspect the engine, transmission, heating and cooling systems, and the current status of your brakes and tires. We’ll also look over your CARFAX Vehicle History Report, which will show us whether your vehicle has been in an accident. Once we make our offer, the rest is up to you.

Estimate Your Trade-in Value

Want to know exactly what you can expect? You can take a look at the Kelley Blue Book site to get a ballpark idea of what your trade-in’s value will be. But if you want a specific value from Northeast Car Connection’s experienced trade-in appraisers, head over to our Value Your Trade tool. If you submit your VIN and details about your vehicle (including photos and/or video), we will give you an instant trade-in value.
